Vacancy

As a Sales Student at Relatics, you support the Sales Manager with new clients who want to use Relatics software in large scale (international) infrastructural construction projects. You conduct online research on Relatics target markets to find out which companies are engaged in several construction projects. In consultation with the Sales Manager, you determine which personas are most relevant for the project, and through LinkedIn and other media you search for leads that match the personas. When you have leads in mind, you provide these to the Sales Manager who subsequently assesses their suitability. Then you assist with preparing and sending LinkedIn and e-mail messages to these leads and monitor data on the project and account information in the internal database.

If you enjoy assisting in attracting important clients and you don’t mind regularly using LinkedIn to do this, then this could be a part-time job for you.

Working week

Sales Manager
Tom Helder

I have an enjoyable day when it appears that several prospects are interested in working together with us. Then I have done a good job.

I have a less enjoyable day when I spend a lot of time on updating the internal database.

Firsthand experience

Through market research you have found out that a nice project has been launched. What do you do?

Your purpose is to provide a number of suitable prospects to the Sales Manager. You do so by examining the selected buyer personas well, and searching on LinkedIn for leads that meet this project’s needs. You add these five leads to the CRM with all relevant information and connect this to the opportunity. Then you draft personal messages to these leads on the basis of their profiles and present these to the Sales Manager. When the leads are considered a match, the people can be approached.

Growth

At Relatics, there is no set growth path and there is plenty of freedom to develop. You are encouraged to join training courses and there is no maximum training budget. You are allowed time off to spend freely on personal development.
